Funding

The project is a collaboration between Soul Sessions Oslo and the selected project sites, where we share the expenses. The amount of funding will determine the amount of activities throughout the year.

Your application must contain a plan for applying and securing funds. Selected project sites will receive letters of intent that can be used in applications. Project sites will be confirmed continuously as funding is secured.

The chance of being granted the project increases with secured funds.

Project sites cover

Travel and stay for the local project leader and their team, during the Kick Off in Oslo
One small-scale battle in the fall, during a workshop weekend (expenses are DJ and DJ-equipment, and potentially MC)
One battle in the spring (expenses are: fees to judges, DJ, MC, rent of local, technician, DJ-equipment, photographer, marketing etc.)
Summer Dance Camp: 1000 NOK per participant for food during the week (this should remain free for the participating youths)
Summer Dance Camp: travel for all participants, youths and adults, to and from Oslo
Expenses for extra activities such as open sessions, jams, social activities for the participants etc. Transportation, fee/pay for the local project leader and team, rent of locals etc.

Soul Sessions Oslo covers the administrative work and the organizing of the entire Community project, plus expenses for Summer Dance Camp at approx. 300 000 NOK
Sentralen UNG covers studios, rooms, technicians, hosts and security for Summer Dance Camp at approx. 700 000 NOK
