This panel talk provides an introduction to club culture while also exploring the political and activist perspectives that are essential to understanding the roots of these dance styles. The panel reflects on what it means when these styles move from the clubs and their strong LGBTQ+ roots into competitions and arenas outside their original spaces. What does it take to foster positive development? Who carries the responsibility?

Recognized for his w*acking and voguing, and been traveling the world for 40+ years to share his knowledge and love for dance.
Finally, Jimmy Yudat will join us for Extended! Representing the French crew Yudat, Jimmy's dance career started in the world of battles before
transitioning to artistic creation. Passionate about body expression, he has established his own media platform dedicated to dance, Hippoh.

Rashaad is one of the world’s most renown street dancers, and represents his own brand Soulmatic through which he works as a passionate artist, educator and cultural entrepreneur.
Arvidos, winner of Locking 1vs1 at Extended 2023!! Now coming back to judge the battles, and we are so excited!
Hailing from Södermalm, Sweden, Arvidos has been locking since 2004.
He's a representative of the Swedish hiphop collective Above the Cloudz.
Known for his unique style, Arvidos has earned recognition on international stages, with accolades such as Summerdance Forever, Juste Debout Germany, Pay the Cost to Be the Boss, and SDK. His journey has taken him across South America, USA, all over Europe and Japan, where he has taught and competed.
Rada is a powerhouse of a woman with 100% passion who puts down the hard work!! What an honor to welcome her to Extended! She is the founder of the w*acking crew Waackengers and has put a clear mark on the growing w*acking community in Italy. With 22 years of work experience Rada comes with a deep dance background. She has an impressive International credibility, and she's won a lot of both national and international battles. Rada is now traveling the world both judging and teaching the art of w*acking!
Sensuality, Technique, Strength and Elegance are all keywords for Rada's incredible world of dance!
The incredible Inxi!! With over 15 years in the field, Inxi has paved her way as a dancer, choreographer and teacher within several street and club styles.
In the ballrom scene she was deemed Lengendary in 2019, representing the House of Alpha Omega. She has won major balls such as the Latex Ball and Vogue Knights in New York, and performed at Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour concert in Stockholm 2023. Inxi also represents Majeko Dance Crew and has some noble popping battle victories, such as Streetstar 7 to Smoke, Battle Bad Nordic, Juste Debout Nordic, Soul Session, and HipHop Weekend Malmö.
Currently, she’s part of the renowned Cullberg Dance Company.

We are so excited to bring Funky Loffe back to Oslo!! DJ, music producer, and crate digger from Stockholm, Sweden, who has been rocking dance floors all over the world since the 90s. Often referred to as a music archaeologist, he is one of the pioneers of Swedish RareGroove and has a strong focus on Disco, Funk, and House from various sources.
He is also known for being one of the most popular DJs and producers in theballroom culture under his alias Loffe Beats.
A true nordic gem, who knows how to get everybody movin' and groovin'
Shahin from the Netherlands has been a key figure in the international waacking scene for the past 15 years! He has won battles across Europe, the U.S. and Asia – including SDK Holland, Funkin Stylez and Supernova Taiwan – and is also a vital community leader.
He’s the force behind events like The Shady Siblings Waacking Battle and the Disco Party at Notorious IBE.

Diesel is of course with us this year as well! The Swedish-Norwegian-Iranian dancer has a background from the dance program at Carlforsska High School in Sweden, Åsa Folk High School (street dance program), as well as the Broadway Dance Center in New York (ISVP program in Contemporary Dance). He has been teaching and performing since 2008, both nationally and internationally, and is now also active as a judge in competitions across Europe.
Diesel has made his mark within the global BIPOC queer and trans Ballroom community, where he has won several European prizes and distinctions, including European Prince of Seduction 2019. Today, he is an up-and-coming legend in his category: Sex Siren.
The atmosphere he creates simply has to be experienced!

We’re excited to have Saïdo Lehlouh aka «Darwin» to this year’s lineup, in collaboration with CODA Oslo International Dance Festival. Saïdo has roots in the French breaking scene of the 2000s and is known for his feline flow and raw honesty on stage. He is the creator of the solo Wild Cat and the collective project Apaches, and co-leads Black Sheep Company with Johanna Faye. As a driving force in Collectif FAIR-E, he has helped shape CCNRB into an innovative and inclusive center for dance in France. During CODA Festival, he will present his piece Témoin with 20 street and club dancers at Dansens Hus on October 9 and 10. During EXTENDED he will judge the showcase competition and the Rookie battle!

When you buy tickets for 3 battle days, you get a 15% discount on the ticket price (a ticket fee of NOK 15 per ticket applies). When you buy tickets for 4 battle days, you get a 20% discount. You can add more days to your cart.
PS! Club Night at Ingensteds on Saturday, 4 October is not included in these discounts, but you’ll get discounted entry by showing a ticket from one or more days of the festival.
